Sarah Weinberg Gratz started her own business in 2004, MazelTovSWaG, creating hand-painted original and custom made artwork including chuppot, challah covers, wedding handkerchiefs, and tallitot for Jewish lifecycle events.  Sarah’s passion for Hiddur Mitzvah, or beautifying the Mitzvah, is exemplified in all of her artwork.

Sarah grew up in Cherry Hill, NJ where she attended Kellman Academy, a Solomon Schechter Day School; and Akiba Hebrew Academy, a Jewish community high school.  Sarah earned a Bachelor of Architecture and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Rhode Island School of Design.  Sarah worked in the architecture field as a Project Architect for 15 years, designing cultural and educational projects.  Sarah’s interest in the environment and sustainability led her to become a LEED Accredited Professional, a credential given to those mastering the knowledge of green building.

Sarah and her husband, Ricky, met as campers at Camp Ramah in the Poconos.  They live in Pikesville, MD with their three daughters and are proud members of Chizuk Amuno Congregation.
