Sarah Weinberg Gratz is the artist and founder of MazelTovSWaG, a Judaica art business she began in 2004. She creates original and custom hand-painted pieces — including chuppot, challah covers, wedding handkerchiefs, and tallitot—designed to bring beauty, creativity, and meaning to Jewish lifecycle celebrations and traditions.

At the heart of Sarah’s work is Hiddur Mitzvah—the Jewish tradition of beautifying a mitzvah. She transforms meaningful ritual objects into personal treasures that can be used and passed down through generations. For Sarah, creating Judaica is a way of bringing together her love of art, design, and Jewish tradition—and creating objects that become part of a family’s story.

Sarah grew up in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, attending Kellman Academy and Akiba Hebrew Academy. She went on to earn both a Bachelor of Architecture and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Rhode Island School of Design. Before devoting herself to MazelTovSWaG, Sarah spent 15 years as a Project Architect designing cultural and educational spaces. Her background in architecture, fine art, and sustainable design continues to influence her creative process, from the initial concept to the finished piece.

Sarah and her husband, Ricky, met as campers at Camp Ramah in the Poconos. Today, they live in Pikesville, Maryland, with their three daughters and are proud members of Chizuk Amuno Congregation & Schools.
